| POINTS FROM SEVENTEENTH CHAPTER |

| Stay in your houses. Bedizen not yourselves with the
bedizenment of the Time of Ignorance
|
|
| Forigiveness and a vast reward for pious people |
|
| Whoso is rebellious to Allah and His messenger, he
verily goes astray in error manifest |
|
| ...Muhammad (PBUH) is the messenger of Allah
and the Seal of the Prophets |
|
| Remember Allah with much remembrance |
|
| You should content your divorced women and release
them handsomely |
|
| After eating meal in someone's house, do not
sit there beyond a reasonable time |
|
| Ask blessings on the Prophet (pbuh) and salute him with
a worty salutation |
|
| Lo! those who malign Allah and His messenger, Allah has
cursed them in the world and the Hereafter, and has prepared for them the
doom of the disdained |
|
| You will not find for the way of Allah aught of power to change |
|
| The knowledge of the Hour is with Allah only |
|
| O ye who believe! Guard your duty to Allah, and speak
words straight to the point; |
|
| Whosoever obeys Allah and His messenger, he
verily has gained a signal victory |
|
| ..... Lo! man has proved a tyrant and a fool |
|
| Those who strive against Our revelations, challenging (Us),
theirs will be a painful doom of wrath. |
|
| Quran is the Truth and leads unto the path of
the Mighty, the Owner of Praise |
|
| ...and (We gave him) certain of the jinn who worked before him
by permission of his Lord... |
|
| Few of My bondmen are thankful |
|
| But they were froward, so We sent on them
the flood of Arim,... |
|
| And we have not sent you (O Muhammad pbhum) save as a
bringer of good tidings and a warner unto all mankind; but most of mankind know not |
|
| People who do not believe in Quran will have
dire consequences before their Lord |
|
| And We sent not unto any township a warner
but its pampered ones declared: Lo! we are disbelievers in that which you bring to us. |
|
| Allah enlarges the provision for whom He will and
narrows it (for whom He will). But most of mankind know not |
|
| It is not your wealth nor your children that will
bring you near unto us but rather your belief and good works |
|
| Some people worshiped jinn; most of them were believers in in them |
|
| ....Who appointed angles messengers having wings two, three and four |
|
| That which Allah opens unto mankind of mercy none can withhold it;
and that which He withholds none can release thereafter |
|
| O mankind! Ye are the poor in your relation to Allah.
And no burdened sould can bear another's burden
He he growth (in goodness) growth only for himself(he cannot by his merit redeem others) |
|
| The "erudite" among His bondmen fear Allah alone |
|
| If Allah took mankind to task by that which they deserve,
He would not leave a living creature on the surface of the earth; but He... |
|
| You warn only him who follows the Reminder(Quran) and fears the Beneficent in
secret. To him bear tidings of forgiveness and rich reward |
|
