69. O ye who believe! Be not as those who slandered Moses, but Allah proved his
innocence of that which they alleged, and he was well esteemed in Allah's sight.

69. O ye who believe! be ye not like those who vexed and insulted Moses but Allah
cleared him of the (calumnies) they had uttered: and he was honorable in Allah's sight.

72. Lo! We offered the trust unto the heavens and the earth and the hills, but they
shrank from bearing it and were afraid of it. And man assumed it. Lo! he hath proved
a tyrant and a fool.

72. We did indeed offer the Trust to the Heavens and the Earth and the Mountains: but
they refused to undertake it being afraid thereof: but man undertook it he was indeed
unjust and foolish

73. Allah punisheth hypocritical men and hypocritical women, and idolatrous men and
idolatrous women. But Allah pardoneth believing men and believing women, and Allah
is Forgiving, Merciful.

73. (With the result) that Allah has to punish the Hypocrites men and women and the
Unbelievers men and women and Allah turns in Mercy to the Believers men and women:
for Allah is Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful.
