| POINTS FROM TWENTIETH CHAPTER |

| Is there any God beside Allah? Nay not at all.
|
|
| "None" in the heavens and the earth knows the Unseen save Allah. |
|
| Lo! Your Lord is full of bounty for manking,
but most of them do not give thanks |
|
| Lo! This Quran narrates unto the Children of Israel
most of that concerning which they differ |
|
| Quran is a guidance and a mercy for "Believers" |
|
| And when the word is fulfilled concerning them, We shall
bring forth a beast of the earth to speak unto them because mankind had not faith in Our revelations |
|
| And to recite the Quran. And whoso goes right, goes right only for
(the good of) his own soul; and as for him who goes astray----- |
|
| Lo! Pharaoh exalted himself in the earth and made its people castes |
|
| And the heart of the mother of Moses became void,
and she would have betrayed him if We had not fortified her heart..... |
|
| ...promise of Allah is true. But most of them know not |
|
| ....and killed him. He said: This is of the devil's doing.. |
|
| Women are helpless before men |
|
| Then there came unto him one of the two women, walking shyly |
|
| He said" We will strengthen your arm with your brother, |
|
| Lo! wrong-doers will not be successful |
|
| Baking the mud in Pharaoh's era |
|
| The end of Pharaoh, an example for wrong-doers |
|
| And who goes farther astray than he who follows
his own lusts without guidance from Allah? Lo! Allah guides not wrongdoing folk |
|
| Lo! You( O Muhammad pbuh) guides not whom you loves, but Allah guides whom He will |
|
| Never abandon Allah's guidance irrespective of your economic loss,
Allah gives provision, trust in Him |
|
| Worldy things which are only a comfort of the life of world
and that which Allah has is better and more lasting |
|
| But for him who shall i)repent; ii) believe; and iii) does right
he haply may be one of the successful |
|
| Korah exaulted on account of knowledge
and wealth and Allah caused the earth to swallow him and his dwelling-place |
|
| Quran has been made obligatory as a law |
|
| ...so never be a helper to the disbelievers |
|
| Everything will perish save His countenance |
|
| Do men imagine that they will be left (at ease) because
they say, We believe, and will not be tested with affliction? |
|
| If parents strive to make you join with Allah that of which you has no knoledge, then obey them not |
|
| We sent Noah (as Our messenger) and he continued
with them for a thousand years save fifty years; |
|
| ...The messenger is only to convey (the message) plainly |
|
| ...and beside Allah there is for you no friend nor helper |
|
| The likeness of those who choose other patrons than Allah is as the
likeness of the spider when she takes unto herself a house.... |
|
| As for these similitudes, We coin them for mankind, but 'NONE'
will grasp their meaning save the wise |
