47. And they say: We believe in Allah and the messenger, and we obey; then after that a 
faction of them turn away. Such are not believers.
Yusuf Ali
47. They say "We believe in Allah and in the Apostle and we obey": but even after that 
some of them turn away: they are not (really) Believers.





M.Pickthall
48. And when they appeal unto Allah and His messenger to judge between them, lo! a 
faction of them are averse;
Yusuf Ali
48. When they are summoned to Allah and His Apostle in order that He may judge between 
them behold some of them decline (to come).





M.Pickthall
49. But if right had been with them they would have come unto him willingly.
Yusuf Ali
49. But if the right is on their side they come to him with all submission.





M.Pickthall
50. Is there in their hearts a disease, or have they doubts, or fear they lest Allah 
and His messenger should wrong them in judgment? Nay, but such are evil doers.
Yusuf Ali
50. Is it that there is a disease in their hearts? Or do they doubt or are they in fear 
that Allah and His Apostle will deal unjustly with them? Nay it is they themselves 
who do wrong.
