| POINTS FROM SIXTEENTH CHAPTER |
 |
| Do the disbelievers reckon that they
can choose My bondmen as protecting friends besides Me? Lo! We have
prepared hell as a welcome for the disbelievers
|
|
| Those who disbelieve in the revelations of
their Lord and in the meeting with Him, their works are vain, and yet they
reckon that they do good work |
|
| Though the sea became ink for the Words of my Lord,
verily the sea would be used up before the Words of my Lord were
exhausted, even though We brought the like thereof to help |
|
| And whoever hopes for the meeting with his Lord, let
him do righteous work, and make none sharer of the worship due unto his Lord |
|
| Lo! We bring you tidings of a son whose name is John;
We have given the same name to none before (him) |
|
| Almighty God if so wishes can grant a child
even if there is old age of husband and wife is barren. |
|
| ....hold fast the Scripture... |
|
| (By the will of God)Jesus, son of Mary, started speaking in cradle
|
|
| Serving/worshiping only Allah is the right path |
|
| Garden (Janat) only for those who i) believe; and ii)do good works |
|
| Know you one that can be named along with Him(Allah) |
|
| There is "NOT ONE OF YOU" but shall approach it(Hell).
That is a fixed (decided) ordinance of your Lord. Then We shall rescue
those who kept from evil, and leave the evil-doers crouching there |
|
| There is 'NONE" in the heavens and the earth but
comes unto the Beneficent as a "Slave" and "each one of them" will come unto Him
on the Day of Resurrection, "ALONE" |
|
| Quran is a reminder unto him who feareth (his Lord) |
|
| So serve Me and establish worship for "my remembrance" |
|
| Almighty God has kept the coming of the Hour, hidden |
|
| Feeling of a mother for her child |
|
| ...And peace will be for him who follows right guidance |
|
| ...a wizard shall not be successful to whatever point of (skill) he may attain |
|
| Lo! whoso comes guilty unto his Lord, verily for him is Hell |
|
| Gardens of Eden, is the reard of one who groweth (is pious) |
|
| and he on whom My wrath comes, he is lost indeed |
|
| Lo! verily I am Forgiving toward him who repents and believes and does
good, and afterward walks aright |
|
| ... and we have given you from Our presence a Reminder.
Whoso turns away from it, he verily will bear a burden on the Day of Resurrection |
|
| On that Day no intercession avails save
(that of) him unto whom the Beneficent has given leave and whose He accepts.
He knows (all) that is before them and (all) that is behind them, while
they cannot compass "IT" in knowledge. And faces humble themselves before the
Living, the Enternal. And he who bears ( a burden of) wrongdoing is indeed a
failure (on that Day)...... |

| The Deveil whispered to him saying: O Adam!
Shall I show you the tree of immortality and power that wastes not away? |
|
| But if there comes unto you from Me a guidance, then
whoso follows My guidance, he will not go astray nor come to grief... |
|
| But he who turns away from remembrance of Me,
his will be a narrow life, and I shall bring him blind to the assembly
on the Day of Resurrection |
|
| Is it not a guidance for them (to know) how many
a generation We destoryed before them, amid whose dwellings they walk?
And but for a decree that had already gone forth from
Your Lord, and a term already fixed, the judgement would (have) been inevitable (in this world). |
|
| And enjoin upon your people worship, and be constant therein |
|
