| POINTS FROM FIFTEENTH CHAPTER |
| The Distant Place of Worship the neighbourhood
whereof We have blessed......
| Children of Israel, the seed of those whom
We carried (in the ship) along with Noah |
| Lo! this Quran guides unto that which is straightest,
and gives tidings unto the Believers who do good works... |
| Man prayeth for evil as he prayeth for good; for man was ever hasty |
| And every man's augury have We fastened to his own neck,..... |
| Whosoever goes right, it is only for (the good of) his own soul
that he goes right, and wosoever erreth, erreth only to its hurt.No laden soul can bear another's load. |
| Each do We supply, both these and those, from the bounty
of your Lord.... |
| Lo! the squanderers were ever brothers of the devils...
| And let not your hand be chained to your neck
nor open it with a complete opening, lest you sit down rebuked denuded |
| ...but let him not commit excess in slaying..... |
| Fill the measure when ye measure, and weigh
with a right balance; that is meet, and better in the end |
| Walk not in the earth exultant... |
| We verily have displayed in this Quran that they may take heed, |
| The seven heavens and the earth and all that is therein
praise Him, and there not a thing but hymneth His praise; but you understand not their praise.... |
| ...and when you make mention of your Lord alone in the
Quran, they turn their backs in aversion |
| ...and ye will think that ye have tarried but a little while |
| Man only cries unto Allah in the state of problems, but afterwards
forgets and disbelieve. Feel ye then secure that He will not cause a slope of
the land to engulf you..... |
| No one can be spared from the punishment of Allah, if you
disobey Him |
| Lo!(the recital of) the Quran at dawn is ever witnessed |
| And some part of the night awake for it(Quran), a largess for thee |
| And We reveal of the Quran that which is a
healing and a mercy for "believers" ...... |
| Each one does according to his rule of conduct, and
your Lord is best aware of him whose way is right |
| Verily, though mankind and Jinn should
assemble to produce the like of this Quran, they could not produce the like
thereof though they were helpers one of another. |
| Verily We have displayed for mankind in Quran
all kinds of similitudes, but......... |
| With truth have We sent it(Quran) down, and with
truth has it descended |
| And you (Muhammad, pbuh) be not loud voiced
in your worship nor yet silent therein, but follow a way between |
| Who has no partner in the Sovereignty, nor has He any
protecting friend through dependence |
| Allah has not placed in Quran any crookedness |
| Lo! We have placed all that is in the earth
as an ornament thereof that We may try them: which of them is best in conduct |
| And say not of anything: Lo! I shall do that
tomorrow, except if Allah will. |
| and He makes none to share in His government |
| There is none who can change His words |
| Armlets of gold, green robes of finest
silk and gold embroidery, reclining upon thrones therein, only for Believers
and doer of good works |
| Wealth and children are an ornament of life of the world |
| ..all save Iblis. He was of the Jinn, so he rebelled... |
| ...but man is more than anything contentious |
| Lo! on their hearts We have placed coverings so that
they understand not, and in their ears a deafness.... |
| If He took them to task (now) for what they earn,
He would hasten on the doom for them; but theirs is an appointed term.... |
