| POINTS FROM SEVENTH CHAPTER |
| But those who disbelieve and
deny Our revelations, they are owners of hell-fire. |
| Forbid not the good things which Allah has made lawful for you |
| Lo! Allah loves not transgressors |
| Success depends on leaving the handiwork of Satan, i.e. strong
drink, games of chance, idols and divining arrows. |
| Satan seeketh only to cast among you
enmity and hatred by means of strong drink
and games of chance, and to turn you from remembrance
of Allah and from (His) worship. |
| The duty of the Messenger isonly plain conveyance (of the message) |
| The evil and the good are not alike even though the
plenty of the evil attract you |
| Ask not of things which, if they were made unto you, would trouble you; |
| Forefather's traditions or way of living, if is in
contrast to Quranic teaching, has no value at all |
| If Allah touch thee with affliction, there is none that
can relieve therefrom save Him, and if He touch thee with good fortune
(there is none that can impair it); |
| You have charge of your own soul |
| He who erreth cannot injure you if you are rightly guided |
| Allah guides not the froward folk |
| In the day when Allah gathers together the messengers,
and says: What was your response (from mankind)? |
| Only God knows the hidden Things |
| He it is Who has created you from clay, and has decreed a term for you |
| Allah has prescribed for Himself mercy |
| Naught is the life of the world save a pastime and a sport.
Better far is the abode of the Hereafter for those who keep their duty(to Allah) |
| There is none to alter the decisions(words) of Allah |
| ---If Allah willed, He could have brought them all together to the Guidance---ii)
Had Allah willed, they had not been idolatrous |
| There is not an animal in the earth nor a flying creature flying on
two wings, but they are peoples like unto you |
| Whom Allah will sendeth astray,
and whom He will He placeth on a straight path. |
| Say (O Muhammad PBUH)...I have no knowledge of the Unseen;.... |
| ...there is no protecting friend nor intercessor beside Allah... |
| Repel not those who call upon their Lord at morn and evening,
seeking his countenance.... |
| ....when death comes unto one of you, our angels receive him.... |
| for every announcement there is a term, and you will come to know. |
| Do not sit with those who meddle with Allah's revelations,
Remind them once that they should not do so |
| Instead of Allah, crying to anyone neither profits nor hurts |
| Those who believe and obscure not their believe by wrongdoing,
theirs is safety; and they are rightly guided |
| We raise unto degress whom We will.. |
| But if they(Prophets) had set up (for worship) aught beside Allah, (all
they they did would have been vain |
| Those are they (Prophets) whom Allah guideth, so follow their guidance... |
| Who is guilty of more wrong than
hewho forgeth a lie against Allah, or saith:
I am inspired, when he is not inspired in aught;
and who saith: I will reveal the like of that which
Allah hath revealed? |
| Death is painful but specially for the wrong-doers |
| Man comes solitary and goes solitary |
| Proofs have come unto you from your Lord, so whoso sees it is for
his own good, and whoso is blind is blind to his own hurt |
| Revile, not those unto whom they pray beside Allah
lest they wrongfully revile Allah through ignorance |
| Thus unto every nation have We made their deed seem fair
decision will be made on return to their Lord |
