Reveal

This is of the tidings of things hidden.
We reveal it unto thee (Mohammad)
1

Lo! We inspire thee as We inspired Noah and the
prophets after him, as We inspired Abraham and
Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the tribes, and
Jesus and Job and Jonah and Aaron and Solomon,
1

And when I inspired the disciples, (saying):
Believe in Me and in My messenger, they said:
We believe. Bear witness that we have
surrendered (unto Thee)
1

And this Qur'an hath been inspired in me,
that I may warn therewith you and whomsoever
it may reach
1

Say (O Muhammad, to the disbelievers): I say
not unto you (that) I possess the treasures
of Allah, nor that I have knowledge of the
Unseen; and I say not unto you: Lo! I am
an angel. I follow only that which is
inspired in me.
1

Who is guilty of more wrong than he who forgeth
a lie against Allah, or saith : I am inspired,
when he is not inspired in aught; and who saith:
I will reveal the like of that which Allah hath
revealed?
1

Thus do We display Our revelations that they may
say (unto thee, Muhammad): "Thou hast studied,"
and that We may make (it) clear for people
who have knowledge
1

Thus have We appointed unto every Prophet an
adversary--- devils of humankind and jinn
who inspire in one another plausible discourse
through guile.
1

Lo! the devils do inspire their minions to dispute
with you. But if ye obey them, ye will be in
truth idolaters.
1

Say: I find not in that which is revealed unto me
aught prohibited to an eater that he eat thereof,
except it be carrion, or blood poured forth,
or swineflesh for that verily is foul or the
abomination which was immolated to the name of
other than Allah. But whoso is compelled (thereto),
neither craving nor transgressing, (for him)
lo ! your Lord is Forgiving, Merciful

And We inspired Moses (saying): Throw thy staff!
And lo! it swallowed up their lying show.
1

and We inspired Moses, when his people asked
him for water, saying: Smite with thy staff
the rock! And there gushed forth therefrom
twelve springs, so that each tribe knew
their drinking place. 
1

Say: I follow only that which is inspired in me
from my Lord. This (Quran) is insight from
your Lord, and a guidance and a mercy for
a people that believe.
1

When thy Lord inspired the angels, (saying:)
I am with you. So make those who believe stand firm.
1

Is it a wonder for mankind that We have inspired
a man among them, saying : Warn mankind and bring
unto those who believe the good tidings that
they have a sure footing with their Lord?
The disbelievers say : Lo! this is a mere wizard.
1

And when Our clear revelations are recited unto them
they who look not for the meeting with Us say:
Bring a Lecture other than this, or change it
1

And We inspired Moses and his brother,
(saying): Appoint houses for your people
in Egypt and make your houses oratories, 
and establish worship. And give good news
to the believers.
1

And (O Muhammad) follow that which is inspired
in thee, and forbear until Allah give judgment.
And He is the Best of Judges
