False Deities

And he who rejecteth false deities and believeth
in Allah hath grasped a firm hand hold which will
never break

As for those who disbelieve, their patrons are false
deities. They bring them out of light into darkness

Hast thou not seen those unto whom a portion 
of the Scripture hath been given, how they 
believe in idols and false deities, 
1

Hast thou not seen those who pretend that 
they believe in that which is revealed 
unto thee and that which was revealed 
before thee, how they would go for judgment 
(in their disputes) to false deities when 
they have been ordered to abjure them?

Worse (is the case of him) whom Allah hath cursed,
him on whom His wrath hath fallen! Worse is he of
whose sort Allah hath turned some to apes and swine,
and who serveth idols. Such are in worse plight and
further astray from the plain road.
