wherein is peace of reassurance from your Lord,
and a remnant of that which the house of Moses
and the house of Aaron left behind,

He it is who did create you from a single soul,
and therefrom did make his mate that he might
take rest in her.

Then Allah sent His peace of reassurance down upon
His messenger and upon the believers, and sent down
hosts ye could not see, and punished those who
disbelieved. Such is the reward of disbelievers

Then Allah caused His peace of reassurance to
descend upon him and supported him with hosts
ye cannot see,
1

Take alms of their wealth, wherewith thou mayst
purify them and mayst make them grow, and pray
for them. Lo! thy prayer is an assuagement
for them.
1

He it is who hath appointed for you the night
that ye should rest therein and the day
giving sight. Lo! herein verily are portents
for a folk that heed.
