Half

If ye divorce them before ye have touched them
and ye have appointed unto them a portion,
then (pay the) half of that which ye appointed,
unless they (the women) agree to forgo it,
or he agreeth to forgo it in whose hand is the
marriage tie. To forgo is nearer to piety;

and if there be one (only) then the half.

And unto you belongeth a half of that which 
your wives leave, if they have no child;

And if when they are honorably married they commit 
lewdness they shall incur the half of the 
punishment (prescribed) for free women (in that case).

If a man die childless and he have a sister,
hers is half the heritage, and he would have
inherited from her had she died childless
