Mothers
....

Mothers shall suckle their children for two whole years;
1

A mother should not be made to suffer because of her child,
nor should he to whom the child is born (be made to suffer)
because of his child.
1

and if he have no son and his parents are his heirs,
then to his mother appertaineth the third; 
and if he have brethren, then to his mother 
appertaineth the sixth, after any legacy 
he may have bequeathed, or debt (hath been paid).

Forbidden unto you are your mothers, and your 
daughters, and your sisters, and your 
father's sisters, and your mother's sisters, 
1

and your brother's daughters and your sister's daughters,
and your foster mothers, and your foster sisters, 
and your mothers-in-law,
1

Say : Who then can do aught against Allah,
if He had willed to destroy the Messiah son
of Mary, and his mother and everyone on earth?
1

The Messiah, son of Mary, was no other than
a messenger, messengers (the like of whom)
had passed away before him. And his mother
was a saintly woman. And they both used to 
eat (earthly) food. See how we make the
revelations clear for them, and see how
they are turned away
1

When Allah saith: O Jesus, son of Mary! Remember My favor
unto thee and unto thy mother
1

And when Allah saith: O Jesus, son of Mary!
Didst thou say unto mankind: Take me and my mother
for two gods beside Allah?
1

And this is a blessed Scripture which We have
revealed, confirming that which (was revealed)
before it, that thou mayst warn the Mother of
Villages and those around her
1

He said: Son of my mother! Lo! the folk did
judge me weak and almost killed me.
