Degree
....

and men are a degree above them
1

and of whom there are some unto whom Allah spake,
while some of them He exalted (above others) in degree
1

There are degrees (of grace and reprobation) with Allah, 
1

Allah hath conferred on those who strive with their 
wealth and lives a rank above the sedentary
1

Degrees of rank from Him, and forgiveness and
mercy. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful
1

That is Our argument. We gave it unto Abraham
against his folk. We raise unto degrees of
wisdom whom We will.

For all there will be ranks from what they did.
1

He it is who hath placed you as viceroys of the
earth and hath exalted some of you in rank
above others, that He may try you by (the test
of) that which He hath given you. 
1

For them are grades (of honor) with their Lord,
and pardon, and a bountiful provision
1

Those who believe, and have left their homes and striven
with their wealth and their lives in Allah's way are
of much greater worth in Allah's sight. These are
they who are triumphant.
