And they will not cease from fighting against you
till they have made you renegades from your religion,
if they can.

cannot travel in the land (for trade)

But if he who oweth the debt is of low understanding,
or weak, or unable himself to dictate, then let the
guardian of his interests dictate in (terms of) equity

And pilgrimage to the House is a duty unto 
Allah for mankind, for him who can find 
a way thither.

And whoso is not able to afford to marry free, 
believing women, let them marry from the believing 
maids whom your right hands possess.
1

Except the feeble among men, and the women, 
and the children, who are unable to devise a 
plan and are not shown a way.
1

Ye will not be able to deal equally between (your)
wives, however much ye wish (to do so): But turn 
not altogether away (from one), leaving her 
as in suspense
1

When the disciples said: O Jesus, son of Mary!
Is thy Lord able to send down for us a table
spread with food from heaven? He said:
Observe your duty to Allah, if ye are true believers.
1

And if their aversion is grievous unto thee,
then, if thou canst, seek a way down into the
earth or a ladder unto the sky that thou mayst
bring unto them a portent (to convince them all)
1

And cannot give them help, nor can they help themselves?
1

They on whom ye call beside Him have no power
to help you, nor can they help themselves
1

Make ready for them all thou canst of (armed) force
and of horses tethered, that thereby ye may dismay
the enemy of Allah and your enemy, and others beside
them whom ye know not. Allah knoweth them.
1

Yet will they swear by Allah (saying): If we
had been able we would surely have set out
with you. They destroy their souls,
and Allah knoweth that they verily are liars
1

Say: Then bring a surah like unto it, and call
(for help) on all ye can besides Allah,
if ye are truthful.
