Or think ye that ye will enter Paradise while yet

The unthinking man accounteth them wealthy because
of their restraint
1

And Lo! there is a party of them who distort 
the Scripture with their tongues, that ye 
may think that what they say is from the 
Scripture, when it is not from the Scripture.

Think not of those, who are slain in 
the way of Allah, as dead.
1

And let not those who disbelieve imagine 
that the rein We give them bodeth good 
unto their souls
1

And let not those who hoard up that which Allah 
hath bestowed upon them of His bounty think 
that it is better for them. Nay, it is worse 
for them. 
1

Think not that those who exult in what they have given
1

Think not, they are in safety from the doom.
1

They thought no harm would come of it, so they were
willfully blind and deaf. And afterward Allah turned
(in mercy) toward them. Now (even after that) are
many of them willfully blind and deaf.
1

A party hath He led aright, while error hath just
hold over (another) party, for lo! they choose the
devils for protecting friends instead of Allah
and deem that they are rightly guided
1

And let not those who disbelieve suppose that
they can outstrip (Allah's purpose).
Lo! they cannot escape.

Or deemed ye that ye would be left (in peace) when
Allah yet knoweth not those of you who strive,
choosing for familiar none save Allah and His
messenger and the believers?
