Month

The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Quran,
1

And whosoever of you is present, let him fast the month
1

forbidden months are for forbidden months
1

The pilgrimage is (in) the well known months,
1

They question thee (O Muhammad) with regard
to warfare in the sacred month
1

Those who forswear their wives must wait four months
1

Such of you as die and leave behind them wives,
they (the wives) shall wait, keeping themselves
apart, four months and ten days. 
1

And whoso hath not the wherewithal must fast 
two consecutive months. A penance from Allah.
Allah is Knower, Wise
1 

O ye who believe! Profane not Allah's monuments
nor the Sacred Month nor the offerings nor the garlands,
nor those repairing to the Sacred House,
seeking the grace and pleasure of Allah.

Allah hath appointed the Ka'bah, the Sacred
House, a standard for mankind, and the Sacred
Month and the offerings and the garlands.
1

Travel freely in the land four months,
and know that ye cannot escape Allah
1

Then, when the sacred months have passed,
slay the idolaters wherever ye find them,
and take them (captive), and besiege them,
and prepare for them each ambush.
1

Lo! the number of the months with Allah is twelve
months by Allah's ordinance in the day that
He created the heavens and the earth. Four of
them are sacred: that is the right religion.
So wrong not yourselves in them.
