Another Folk
..

and (for) him who is sick among you, or on
a journey, (the same) number of other days;

And if two men be not (at hand) then a man and two
women, of such as ye approve as witnesses, so that
if the one erreth (through forgetfulness) the other
will remember.

He it is Who hath revealed unto thee (Muhammad)
the Scripture wherein are clear revelations.
They are the substance of the Book. and others
(which are) allegorical.
1

one army fighting in the way of Allah, and another
disbelieving, whom they saw as twice their number,
clearly, with their very eyes.
1

Ye will find others who desire that they should 
have security from you, and security from 
their own folk. 
1

Then when they have performed their prostrations 
let them fall to the rear and let another party 
come that hath not worshipped and let them 
worship with thee, and let them take their 
precaution and their arms.
1

If He will, He can remove you, O people,
and produce others (in your stead).
Allah is Able to do that
1

how they offered each a sacrifice, and it was
accepted from the one of them and it was not
accepted from the other. 
1

listeners for the sake of falsehood, listeners on
behalf of other folk who come not unto thee
1

O ye who believe! Let there be witnesses between you
when death draweth nigh unto one of you, at the time
of bequest--- two witnesses, just men from among you,
or two others from another tribe, in case ye are
campaigning in the land and the calamity of death
befall you.
1

But then, if it is afterwards ascertained that both
of them merit (the suspicion of) sin, let two others
take their place of those nearly concerned, and let
them swear by Allah, (saying): Verily our testimony
is truer than their testimony and we have not
transgressed(the bounds of duty), for then indeed
we should be of the evildoers
1

Yet We destroyed them for their sins, and created
after them another generation
1

Do ye in truth bear witness that there are
gods beside Allah? Say : I bear no such witness
1

nor doth any laden bear another's load.
1

Make ready for them all thou canst of (armed) force
and of horses tethered, that thereby ye may dismay
the enemy of Allah and your enemy, and others beside
them whom ye know not. Allah knoweth them.
1

And (there are) others who have acknowledged their
faults. They mixed a righteous action with another
that was bad. It may be that Allah will relent
toward them.
1

And (there are) others who await Allah's decree,
whether He will punish them or will forgive them.
