Lawful
....

Eat of that which is lawful and wholesome in the earth,
1

It is made lawful for you to go unto your
wives on the night of the fast.
1

And it is not lawful for them that they should
conceal that which Allah hath created in their
wombs if they are believers in Allah and the Last Day.
1

And it is not lawful for you that ye take from
women aught of that which ye have given them;
except (in the case) when both fear that they
may not be able to keep within the limits
(imposed by) Allah
1

And if he hath divorced her (the third time),
then she is not lawful unto him thereafter
until she hath wedded another husband.
1

whereas Allah permitteth trading and forbiddeth usury
1

and to make lawful some of that which was
forbidden unto you
1

All food was lawful unto the children of 
Israel, save that which Israel forbade 
himself, (in days) before the Torah 
was revealed. 
1

O ye who believe! It is not lawful for you 
forcibly to inherit the women 
1

Lawful unto you are all beyond those mentioned, 
so that ye seek them with your wealth in 
honest wedlock, not debauchery. 
1

Because of the wrongdoing of the Jews We forbade them
good things which were (before) made lawful unto them,
and because of their much hindering from Allah's way,
1 

The beast of cattle is made lawful unto you
(for food) except that which is announced
unto you (herein), game being unlawful when
ye are on pilgrimage
1

They ask thee (O Muhammad) what is made lawful 
for them. Say : ( all ) good things are made
lawful for you.
1

And those beasts and birds of prey which ye have
trained as hounds are trained, ye teach them that
which Allah taught you; so eat of that which they
catch for you and mention Allah's name upon it
1

This day are (all) good things made lawful 
for you. The food of those who have received
the Scripture is lawful for you, and your food
is lawful for them. And so are the virtuous women
of the believers and the virtuous women of those
who received the Scripture before you
(lawful for you) when ye give them their marriage
portions and live with them in honor, not in
fornication, nor taking them as secret concubines.

Forbid not the good things which Allah
hath made lawful for you
1

Eat of that which Allah hath bestowed on you
as food lawful and good, and keep your duty
to Allah in Whom ye are believers
1

To hunt and to eat the fish of the sea is made lawful for you,
a provision for you and for seafarers
1

He will make lawful for them all good things
and prohibit for them only the foul;
1

Now enjoy what ye have won, as lawful and good,
1

they allow it one year and forbid it (another) year,
that they may make up the number of the months which
Allah hath hallowed, so that they allow that which
Allah hath forbidden.
1

Say: Have ye considered what provision Allah hath
sent down for you, how ye have made of it lawful
and unlawful?
