Whence

and eat ye freely (of the fruits) thereof where ye will

Eat freely from where you wish
1

whencesoever thou comest forth (for prayer,
O Muhammad) turn thy face toward the Inviolable
Place of Worship.

wheresoever ye may be (O Muslims) turn your
faces toward it (when ye pray)
1

And slay them wherever ye find them,
1

drive them out of the places whence they drove you out
1

Then hasten onward from the place whence
the multitude hasteneth onward
1

And when they have purified themselves, then
go in unto them as Allah hath enjoined upon you
1

So choose not friends from them till they forsake
their homes in the way of Allah; if they turn back
(to enmity) then take them and kill them wherever 
ye find them, and choose no friend nor helper 
from among them:
1

If they keep not aloof from you nor offer you peace
nor hold their hands, then take them and kill them
wherever ye find them. Against such We have given 
you clear warrant
1

Allah knoweth best with whom to place His message.
1

And (unto man): O Adam! Dwell thou and thy wife
in the Garden and eat from whence ye will,
but come not nigh this tree lest ye become wrong doers.
1 2

Lo! he seeth you, he and his tribe, from whence
ye see him not
1

and eat therefrom whence ye wil
1

And those who deny Our revelations step by step
We lead them on from whence they know not
1

Then, when the sacred months have passed,
slay the idolaters wherever ye find them,
and take them (captive), and besiege them,
and prepare for them each ambush.
