To set aside

Is it ever so that when ye make a covenant
a party of you set it aside

A party of those to whom the book was given,
set aside book of Allah....
1

But they flung it behind their backs and 
bought thereby a little gain. Verily evil 
is that which they have gained thereby
1

And if thou fearest treachery from any folk,
then throw back to them (their treaty) fairly.
Lo! Allah loveth not the treacherous.
