House

It is not righteousness that ye go to houses by the
backs thereof (as do the idolaters at certain seasons),
but the righteous man is he who wardeth off (evil)
1

And I announce unto you what ye eat and what
ye store up in your houses.
1 

Say: Even though ye had been in your houses, 
those appointed to be slain would have gone 
forth to the places where they were to lie. 
(All this hath been) in order that Allah 
might try what is in your breasts and 
prove what is in your hearts.
1

And if they testify (to the truth of the allegation) 
then confine them to the houses until death take 
them or (until) Allah appoint for them a way 
(through new legislation).
1

and whoso forsaketh his home, a fugitive unto Allah
and His messenger, and death overtaketh him, 
his reward is then incumbent on Allah.
1

and gave you station in the earth. Ye choose castles
in the plains and hew the mountains into dwellings
1

Even as thy Lord caused thee (Muhammad) to go forth
from thy home with the Truth, and lo! a party
of the believers were averse (to it)
1

And their worship at the (holy) House is naught
but whistling and hand clapping. Therefore (it is
said unto them): Taste of the doom because ye disbelieve
1

And We inspired Moses and his brother,
(saying): Appoint houses for your people
in Egypt and make your houses oratories, 
and establish worship. And give good news
to the believers.
