Abode of the Hereafter

Bethink thee (O Muhammad) of those of old, who went
forth from their habitations in their thousands,
1

Why should we not fight in Allah's way when we have
been driven from our dwellings with our children?
1

So those who fled and were driven forth 
from their homes
1

For them is the abode of peace with their Lord.
He  will be their Protecting Friend because of
what they used to do.
1

Say (O Muhammad) : O my people! Work according to
your power. Lo! I too am working. Thus ye will
come to know for which of us will be the happy sequel
1

So the earthquake seized them, and morning found
them prostrate in their dwelling place
1 2

I shall show thee the abode of evil livers.
1

And Allah summoneth to the abode of peace,
and leadeth whom He will to a straight path
1
