Ordained
....

and seek that which Allah hath ordained for you,
1


Lo! the first Sanctuary appointed for mankind 
was that at Mecca, a blessed place, a guidance 
to the peoples
1

It is a decree of Allah for you.
1

And if We had decreed for them : Lay down your lives
or go forth from your dwellings, but few of them 
would have done it;
1

and the Scripture which hath been recited 
unto you (giveth decree), concerning female
orphans unto whom ye give not that which is
ordained for them though ye desire to marry them,
1

O my people! Go into the holy land which Allah
hath ordained for you. Turn not in flight,
for surely ye turn back as losers
1

For that cause We decreed for the Children of Israel
that whosoever killeth a human being for other than
man slaughter or corruption in the earth, it shall be
as if be had killed all mankind, and whoso saveth the
life of one, it shall be as if he had: saved the life
of all mankind
1

And We prescribed for them therein: The life for the
life, and the eye for the eye, and the nose for the
nose, and the ear for the ear, and the tooth for
the tooth, and for wounds retaliation. But whoso
forgoeth it (in the way of charity) it shall be
expiation for him
1

He hath prescribed for Himself mercy,
1

And ordain for us in, this world that which is good,
and in the Hereafter (that which is good),
1

and My mercy embraceth all things, therefore
I shall ordain It for those who ward off (evil)
and pay the poor due, and those who believe
Our revelations;
1

Say: Naught befalleth us save that which Allah
hath decreed for us. He is our protecting Friend.
In Allah let believers put their trust!
