What was given to prophets from their Lord, believe in

righteous is he who believeth in Allah and the Last Day
and the angels and the Scripture and the Prophets

Mankind were one community, and Allah sent (unto them)
Prophets as bearers of good tidings and as warners
1

And he commanded you not that ye should take 
the angels and the Prophets for lords. Would 
he command you to disbelieve after ye had 
surrendered (to Allah)
1

When Allah made (His) covenant with the Prophets, 
(He said): Behold that which I have given you of 
the Scripture and knowledge
1

And with how many a prophet have there been a 
number of devoted men who fought (beside him).
1

Whoso obeyeth Allah and the messenger, they are with
those unto whom Allah hath shown favor, of the 
Prophets and the saints and the martyrs and the 
righteous. The best of company are they
1

Lo! We inspire thee as We inspired Noah and the
prophets after him, as We inspired Abraham and
Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the tribes, and
Jesus and Job and Jonah and Aaron and Solomon,

And (remember) when Moses said unto his people:
O my people ! Remember Allah's favor unto you,
how He placed among you Prophets, and He made
you Kings, and gave you that (which) He gave
not to any (other) of (His) creatures

by which the Prophets who surrendered (unto Allah)
judged the Jews, and the rabbis and the priests
(judged) by such of Allah's Scripture as they were
bidden to observe, and thereunto were they witnesses.
