No doubt he, in




that (this Revelation) is the Truth from their Lord.

that (this Revelation) is the Truth from your Lord.

Lo! he is an open enemy for you.

Lo! that would be a great sin.
1

Lo! the wrong doers will not be successful
1 2

We know well how their talk grieveth thee,
though in truth they deny not thee (Muhammad)
but evil-doers flout the revelations of Allah.
1

Your Lord hath prescribed for Himself mercy,
that whoso of you doeth evil and repenteth
afterward thereof and doeth right,
(for him) lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful
1

Those unto whom We gave the Scripture (aforetime)
know that it is revealed from thy Lord in truth.
So be not thou (O Muhammad) of the waverers
1

And eat not of that whereon Allah's name hath
not been mentioned, for lo! it is abomination
1

Lo! he seeth you, he and his tribe, from whence
ye see him not
1

Saw they not that it spake not unto them nor
guided them to any way? They chose it
1

The prayer of Abraham for the forgiveness of his father
was only because of a promise he had promised him,
but when it had become clear unto him that he
(his father) was an enemy to Allah he (Abraham)
disowned him.
1

Lo! He produceth creation, then reproduceth it,
that He may reward those who believe and
do good works with equity;
1

Pharaoh with his hosts pursued them in rebellion
and transgression, till, when the (fate of)
drowning overtook him, he exclaimed: I believe
that there is no God save Him in whom the
Children of Israel believe, and I am of
those who surrender (unto Him)
