Evils
....

He enjoineth upon you only the evil and the foul,
1

On the day when every soul will find itself
confronted with all that it hath done of good
and all' that it hath done of evil (every soul)
1

If a lucky chance befall you, it is evil unto 
them, and if disaster strike you they 
rejoice thereat. 
1

So they returned with grace and favor from 
Allah, and no harm touched them.
1 

Forgiveness is only incumbent on Allah 
toward those who do evil in ignorance (and)
1

The forgiveness is not for those who do 
ill deeds until,
1

Yet whoso doeth evil or wrongeth his own soul,
then seeketh pardon of Allah, will find Allah
Forgiving, Merciful.
1

It will not be in accordance with your desires,
nor the desires of the People of the Scripture.
He who doeth wrong will have the recompense thereof,
and will not find against Allah any protecting
friend or helper.
1

Allah loveth not the utterance of harsh speech
save by one who hath been wronged.
1

If ye do good openly or keep it secret, or forgive evil,
1

Your Lord hath prescribed for Himself mercy,
that whoso of you doeth evil and repenteth
afterward thereof and doeth right,
(for him) lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful
1

Lo! this is the camel of Allah, a token unto you;
so let her feed in Allah's earth, and touch her
not with hurt lest painful torment seize you
1

And when they forgot that whereof they had been
reminded, We rescued those who forbade wrong
1

The evil of their deeds is made fair-seeming unto them
1

If good befalleth thee (O Muhammad) it afflicteth
them, and if calamity befalleth thee, they say:
We took precaution, and they turn away well pleased
1

And of the wandering Arabs there is he who taketh
that which he expendeth (for the cause of Allah ),
as a loss, and awaiteth (evil) turns of fortune for
you (that he may be rid of it). 
The evil turn of fortune will be theirs
