ye were dead and He gave life to you

Then he will give you death, then life again

Thus Allah gives life to dead

Slain in the way of Allah, are "living"....
1

thereby reviving the earth after its death
His signs...
1

who went forth from their habitations in their thousands,
and Allah said unto them: Die, and then He brought
them back to life.
1


The Alive, the Eternal

Abraham said: My Lord is He who giveth life and
causeth death, he answered: I give life and cause death
1

How shall Allah give this township life after its death?
1

And when Abraham said (unto his Lord): My lord! Show
me how Thou givest life to the dead, 
1

And Thou bringest forth the living from the dead,
and Thou bringest forth the dead from the living.
1

Nay, they are living. With their Lord they 
have provision.
1

For that cause We decreed for the Children of Israel
that whosoever killeth a human being for other than
man slaughter or corruption in the earth, it shall be
as if be had killed all mankind, and whoso saveth the
life of one, it shall be as if he had: saved the life
of all mankind
1

He bringeth forth the living from the dead,
and is the bringer forth of the dead from
the living. Such is Allah. How then are ye perverted?
1

that he who perished (on that day) might perish
by a clear proof (of His sovereignty) and he
who survived might survive by a clear proof
(of His sovereignty)
1

Say (unto them O Muhammad): who provideth for you
from the sky and the earth, or Who owneth hearing
and sight; and Who bringeth forth the living from
the dead and bringeth forth dead from the living;
and Who directeth the course? They will say: Allah.
They say: Will ye not then keep your duty (unto Him)
