Truthful


Say: Allah speaketh truth.
1

Allah verily made good His promise unto you 
when ye routed them by His leave, 
1

Who is more true in statement than Allah?
1

It is a promise from Allah in truth ; and who
can be more truthful than Allah in utterance?
1

The Messiah, son of Mary, was no other than
a messenger, messengers (the like of whom)
had passed away before him. And his mother
was a saintly woman. And they both used to 
eat (earthly) food. See how we make the
revelations clear for them, and see how
they are turned away
1

(They said:) We wish to eat thereof, that we may
satisfy our hearts and know that thou hast spoken
truth to us, and that thereof we may be witnesses
1

Allah saith: This is a day in which their truthfulness
profiteth the truthful, for theirs are Gardens underneath
which rivers flow, wherein they are secure for ever,
Allah taking pleasure in them and they in Him.
That is the great triumph
1

Perfected is the Word of thy Lord in truth and justice.
1

Allah forgive thee (O Muhammad)! Wherefore didst
thou grant them leave ere those who told the truth
were manifest to thee and thou didst know the liars?
1

Is it a wonder for mankind that We have inspired
a man among them, saying : Warn mankind and bring
unto those who believe the good tidings that
they have a sure footing with their Lord?
The disbelievers say : Lo! this is a mere wizard.

And We verify did allot unto the Children of Israel
a fixed abode, and did provide them with good things;
and they differed not until knowledge came unto them.
Lo! thy Lord will judge between them on the Day of
Resurrection concerning that wherein they used to differ
