Who is guilty of more wrong than he who forgeth
a lie against Allah, or saith : I am inspired,
when he is not inspired in aught; and who saith:
I will reveal the like of that which Allah hath
revealed?

And when a token cometh unto them, they say: We will
not believe till we are given that which
Allah's messengers are given.

Whoso bringeth a good deed will receive tenfold the
like thereof, while whoso bringeth an ill deed
will be awarded but the like thereof; and they
will not be wronged

and say: It will be forgiven us. And if there came
to them (again) the offer of the like, they would
accept it (and would sin again)

Lo! those on whom ye call beside Allah are slaves
like unto you. Call on them now, and let them
answer you, if ye are truthful!

And when Our revelations are recited unto them
they say: We have heard. If we wish we can speak
the like of this. Lo! this is naught but fables
of the men of old
1

And those who earn ill deeds, (for them) requital
of each ill deed by the like thereof; and ignominy
overtaketh them---. They have no protector from Allah.
--- As if their faces had been covered with a cloak
of darkest night. Such are rightful owners of the
Fire; they will abide therein

What expect they save the like of the days of
those who passed away before them?
Say: Expect then! I am with you among the expectant.
