Ears

 thrust their fingers in their ears by reason 
of the thunder-claps, for fear of death

And surely I will lead them astray, and surely I will
arouse desires in them, and surely I will command them
and they will cut the cattle's ears, and surely I will
command them and they will change Allah's creation.

And We prescribed for them therein: The life for the
life, and the eye for the eye, and the nose for the
nose, and the ear for the ear, and the tooth for
the tooth, and for wounds retaliation. But whoso
forgoeth it (in the way of charity) it shall be
expiation for him

Of them are some who listen unto thee, but We have
placed upon their hearts veils, lest they should
understand, and in their ears a deafness.

having hearts wherewith they understand not,
and having eyes wherewith they see not,
and having ears wherewith they hear not.

or have they ears wherewith they hear?
