to Leave

Allah leaves hypocrites in darkness

if he leave wealth, that he bequeath unto
parents and near relatives in kindness
1

wherein is peace of reassurance from your Lord,
and a remnant of that which the house of Moses
and the house of Aaron left behind,
1

His likeness is as the likeness of a rock whereon is dust
of earth; a rainstorm smiteth it, leaving it smooth and bare.
1

Unto the men (of a family) belongeth a share of 
that which parents and near kindred leave, 
1

unto the women a share of that which parents 
and near kindred leave
1

And let those fear (in their behavior toward 
orphans) who if they left behind them weak 
offspring would be afraid for them.
1 

and if there be women more than two, then 
theirs is two-thirds of the inheritance
1

And to his parents a sixth of the inheritance, 
if he have a son;
1

And unto you belongeth a half of that which 
your wives leave, if they have no child; 
1

but if they have a child then unto you the fourth 
of that which they leave, after any legacy they 
may have bequeathed, or debt (they may have
contracted, hath been paid)
1

And unto them belongeth the fourth of that 
which ye leave if ye have no child,
1

but if ye have a child then the eighth of that 
which ye leave, after any legacy ye may have 
bequeathed, or debt ( ye may have contracted, 
hath been paid)
1

And unto each We have appointed heirs of 
that which parents and near kindred leave;
1

If a man die childless and he have a sister,
hers is half the heritage, and he would have
inherited from her had she died childless
1

And if there be two sisters, then theirs are
two-thirds of the heritage
1

Now have ye come unto Us solitary as We did create
you at the first, and ye have left behind you all
that We bestowed upon you,
1

And had We willed We could have raised him by their
means, but he clung to the earth and followed
his own lust. Therefor his likeness is as the
likeness of a dog; if thou attackest him
he panteth with his tongue out, and if thou
leavest him he panteth with his tongue out
1

Or deemed ye that ye would be left (in peace) when
Allah yet knoweth not those of you who strive,
choosing for familiar none save Allah and His
messenger and the believers?
