To them who wrong





Woe unto them who write book with their own hands

Those who forswear their wives must wait four months
1

for such of them as do right and ward off 
(evil), there is great reward
1

Is it not an indication to those who inherit the land
after its people (who thus reaped the consequence of
evil doing) that, if We will, We can smite them for
their sins and print upon their hearts so that
they hear not?
1

For those who do good is the best (reward)
and more (thereto). Neither dust nor ignominy
cometh near their faces.
