Earth, Moses and Children of Israel

Go into the holy land

they will. wander in the earth, bewildered

and make you viceroys in the earth Moses said so 
to Children of Israel

He may see how ye behave.

to inherit the eastern parts of the land 
and the western parts thereof

We have sundered them in the earth as (separate) nations

Dwell in the land;

were oppressed in the earth

establish them in the earth

be nothing but a tyrant in the land

Our messengers came unto them of old with clear proofs
(of Allah's sovereignty) , but afterwards lo! many of
them became prodigals in the earth.

Pharaoh's fear that Moses will expel them from their land

Pharoh's fear that Moses will make corruption in land

that you two may own the place of greatness in the land

Lo! Pharaoh was verily a tyrant in the land
1 2

wished to scare them from the land,

(Moses) said: Lord of the heavens and the earth 
and all that is between them, if ye had but sure belief

he and his hosts were haughty in the land without right
