do not give thanks

And though thou try much, most men will not believe.

refuse aught save disbelief.

and many of mankind, while there are 
many unto whom the doom is justly due.

Lo! the Hour is surely coming, 
there is no doubt thereof; 

do not know

Knowledge thereof is with Allah only,

And Allah was predominant in His career,

that ye worship none save Him. 
This is the right religion

he was a lord of knowledge because 
We had taught him;

but it is a promise (binding) upon Him in truth,

It is a promise of Allah. Allah 
faileth not His promise

That is the right religion

We have not sent thee (O Muhammad) 
save as a bringer of good tidings 
and a warner

Lo! my Lord enlargeth the provision for 
whom He will and narroweth it (for whom He will)

Assuredly the creation of the heavens and the 
earth is greater than the creation of mankind

Allah giveth life to you, then causeth you to die, 


Many of mankind

are evil livers.

are heedless of Our portents.

are disbelievers in the meeting with their Lord
