Hardening of Hearts

your hearts were hardened and became as rocks


Our hearts are hardened

We have cursed them and made hard their hearts

But their hearts were hardened

Destroy their riches and harden their hearts

And We place upon their hearts veils lest 
they should understand it,

Lo! on their hearts We have placed coverings 
so that they understand not,

a temptation for those in whose hearts is a 
disease, and those whose hearts are hardened-

Then woe unto those whose hearts are 
hardened against remembrance of Allah

Our hearts are protected from that unto which 
thou (O Muhammad) callest us

for them and so their hearts were hardened
