Gabriel!hath revealed (this Scripture) 
to thy heart by Allah's leave, 

We have revealed it, a Lecture in Arabic,

Thus have We revealed it,

The holy Spirit hath revealed it 
from thy Lord with truth,

With truth have We sent it down, 
and with truth hath it descended.

and We have revealed it by (successive) revelation.

A revelation from Him Who created 
the earth and the high heavens,

Thus We reveal it as plain revelations,

He Who knoweth the secret of the 
heavens and the earth hath revealed it

if We had revealed it unto one of 
any other nation than the Arabs,

The devils did not bring it down.

We revealed it on a blessed night

We revealed it on the Night of Power.

(It is) a revelation from the 
Wise, the Owner of Praise.
