We revealed unto thee the book
............

that thereby thou mayst bring forth 
mankind from darkness unto light,

In like manner We have revealed 
unto thee the Scripture,

full of blessing, that they 
may ponder its revelations,
...........


We revealed unto thee the book with truth
........

that thou mayst judge between mankind

confirming that which was (revealed) before it,

so worship Allah, making religion 
pure for Him (only)

And unto thee have We revealed the Scripture with
the truth, confirming whatever Scripture was before
it, and a watcher over it
