The similitude of the life of the world 
is only as water which We send 
down from the sky,
1 2

and causeth water to descend from the sky,
1 2 3

and (we) cause water to descend from the sky,
1 2

He it is Who sendeth down water from the sky,
1  2

when We send down water thereon,
1 2

Seest thou not how Allah sendeth 
down water from the sky 

Hast thou not seen that Allah causeth 
water to fall from the sky,
1  2

And We send down from the sky water in measure,

He sendeth down from the heaven 
mountains wherein is hail 

We send down purifying water from the sky,
1  2

and sendeth down for you water from the sky 

Who causeth water to come down from the sky,

and sendeth down water from the sky

And who sendeth down water from 
the sky in (due) measure,

And have sent down from the rainy 
clouds abundant Water,

Is it ye who shed it from the rain 
cloud, or are We the shedder

that which descendeth from the heaven

and sendeth down for you provision from the sky

And He it is Who sendeth down the 
saving rain after they have despaired,

the water which Allah sendeth down from the sky,
1

and then cause water to descend thereon,
and thereby bring forth fruits of every kind. 
1

and sent down water from the sky upon you,
that thereby He might purify you, and
remove from you the fear of Satan, and make
strong your hearts and firm (your) feet thereby
1
