Portent/Angels

Why hath no portent been sent 
down upon him from his Lord?

Why hath not an angel been 
sent down unto him?

If We sent down an angel, then 
the matter would be judged;

Why hath not a treasure been sent down for him,

Why is not an angel sent down unto him,

Why are angels not sent down unto us

We (angels) come not down save 
by commandment of thy Lord. 

Had Allah willed, He surely could 
have sent down angels.

If our Lord had willed, He surely 
would have sent down angels (unto us)

The angels and the Spirit descend therein,

magic and that which was revealed 
to the two angels(Harut and Marut) in Babel,

Is it not sufficient for you that 
your Lord should support you with 
three thousand angels sent down 

And though We should send down 
the angels unto them,

We send not down the angels save with the Fact

He sendeth down the angels with the Spirit 
of His command unto whom He will of 
His bondmen, (saying):

the angels descend upon them, 
saying: Fear not nor grieve, 

And verily he saw him, yet another time
.............
