Oh People of Scripture!

Say: O People of the Scripture. Come to an 
agreement between us and you:

O People of the Scripture! Why will ye argue about Abraham,
1
 
O People of the Scripture! Why disbelieve ye in the
revelations of Allah, when ye (yourselves) bear 
witness (to their truth ) 
1

O People of the Scripture! Why confound ye truth 
with falsehood and knowingly conceal the truh
1

Say: O People of the Scripture! Why disbelieve ye 
in the revelations of Allah, when Allah (Himself) 
is Witness of what ye do?
1

Say: O People of the Scripture! Why drive ye back 
believers from the way of Allah, seeking to 
make it crooked, when ye are witnesses 
(to Allah's guidance)?
1

O People of the Scripture! Do not exaggerate
in your religion nor utter aught concerning
Allah save the truth.

O people of the Scripture! Now hath Our messenger
come unto you, expounding unto you much of that
which ye used to hide in the Scripture, and
forgiving much. Now hath come unto you light
from Allah and a plain Scripture,

O people of the Scripture! Now hath Our messenger come unto
you to make things plain after an interval (of cessation)
of the messengers,
1

Say: O, People of the Scripture! Do ye blame us for aught
else than that we believe in Allah and that which is
revealed unto us and that which was revealed aforetime,
and because most of you are evil livers?

Say: O People of the Scripture! Ye have naught
(of guidance) till ye observe the Torah and the
Gospel and that which was revealed unto you from
your Lord
