 CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH NO PRAYER OR TO CURTAIL PRAYER

Draw not near unto prayer when ye are drunken, till ye 
know that which ye utter, nor when ye are polluted, save when 
journeying upon the road, till ye have bathed......

Satan seeketh only to cast among you enmity and hatred 
by means of strong drink and games of chance, and to 
turn you from remembrance of Allah and from (His) worship.

And when ye go forth in the land, it is no sin for you to curtail 
(your) worship if ye fear that those who disbelieve may attack you. 

arranging worship in case of fear of an enemy attack,

When ye have performed the act of worship, remember Allah, 
standing, sitting and reclining.

And when ye are in safety, observe proper worship.
