Divorce becoming Effective
......

When ye (men) put away women, put them away for their
(legal) period and reckon the period

Divorce is(permissible) twice

then (a woman) must be retained in honor or released in kindness

then retain them in kindness or release them in kindness

Then, when they have reached their term,
take them back in kindness or part from them in kindness,

And if he hath divorced her, then she is not lawful unto him
thereafter until she hath wedded another husband.
Then if he (the other husband) divorce her it is no
sin for both of them that they come together again.....
