WHO ARE THE PEOPLE WHO WARD OFF EVIL

Who believe in the unseen 

and establish worship

spend of that We have bestowed upon them

who believe in that which is revealed unto thee (Muhammad) 

which was revealed before

are certain of the Hereafter.

depend on guidance from their Lord

righteous is he who believeth in Allah and the Last Day 
and the angels and the Scripture and the Prophets

and giveth his wealth, for love of Him, to kinsfolk and 
to orphans and the needy and the wayfarer and to those 
who ask, and to set slaves free;

payeth the poor due.

keep their treaty when they make one

and the patient in tribulation and adversity and time of stress.

always honour their treaty which they make

righteous

spend (of that which Allah hath given them) 
in ease and in adversity

control their wrath
1 

are forgiving toward mankind;
1

when they do an evil thing or wrong themselves, 
remember Allah and implore forgiveness for their sins.

will not knowingly repeat (the wrong) they did.

Follow Guidance and Allah gives them more guidance
