set as rivals to Allah, loving them with 
a love like (that which is the due) of Allah (only)

can be visited those who did wrong with dreadful punishment

Believers should also guard themselves against a chastisement 
which cannot fall exclusively on those of you who are wrong doers,

Allah does not want to listen about them even from the Prophet

And the (Awful) Cry overtook them

And incline not toward then lest the Fire touch you, 

followed that by which they were made sapless,

when the doom will come upon them, will say: 
Our Lord! Reprieve us for a little while.

others can be dwelt in their dwellings

the doom, it will not be made light for them,

say: Is this other than a mortal like you? 
Will ye then succumb to magic when ye see (it)

will come to know by what a (great) 
reverse they will be overturned!

follow their own lusts without knowledge.

their excuses will not profit them on the Day of Judgement

Assemble them together with their wives and 
what they used to worship
